We’d have filed this under rumors for now, but several witnesses are confirming that Finn Hudson (pictured, courtesy of WM publication), quarterback of McKinley football, has indeed took the lift down from the penthouse to the New Directions basement. But is he staying there for good? “No,” a source close to the subject tells GG. “He’s still staying with the [football] team.” When asked for comment, football coach K-Tan was decidedly mum at first, but when pressed conceded, “He can’t keep up with the demands of being in glee club and football at the same time.” Last week, Mr. Schue, newly-appointed New Directions moderator, held auditions for the club, which as of this writing has yielded an initial ensemble of six, including Rachel Berry (singing Jewish girl on MySpace, anyone?) and Hudson. Now we haven’t heard the quarterback sing yet, but word is next week’s assembly will give way to New Directions’ debut. We’ll see then just how he can keep up. Because, hey, you can’t be just too awesome, right? Still. We can’t seem to wrap our heads around it. Football star player, boyfriend of Queen Fabray, and over-all Mr. Nice Guy.
